My university has a digital literary magazine called The Greenspring Review which is very much worth checking out regardless of what I am about to say. This semester was the first time I ever attempted to submit any of my writing, and truthfully out of all of the people submitting (every English major, closet poet, person wanting extra credit etc.) I REALLY did not think any of my work would be chosen. Being partially an English major, one would assume I’m relatively proud of my work, don’t mind if people read it, blah blah blah, but in reality I have only recently begun feeling any sort of pride in the writing I do…hence the blog.

With that being said, one of my pieces was chosen for publication! I had submitted 2 short stories and 2 poems with very little intent on hearing anything back. To my surprise, something I sent in was deemed “good enough”…my words, not theirs. Below is a link to my published piece “Millennial Monster” on the magazine’s website. Please read it and leave your thoughts here in a comment!

Sorry for the shorter post, but I figured you wouldn’t mind.

I’m so excited to share this with you all!
