Over the past few month, I have started hopping on the vitamin bandwagon. I am no expert by any means, but I can definitely tell you what has been working for me. It all started with the infamous SugarBear Hair gummies that every celebrity and their mother has been posting about on Instagram. For 3 month straight I ate two of those gummies a day and the results were very pleasing. I was transitioning from bleached, damaged hair to brunette, and the gummies helped the growth and strength of my hair amazingly. On top of that, the ingredients for the product also helped very noticeably strengthen my nails. My skin doesn’t normally have too much trouble staying clear, but I definitely didn’t have any breakouts over the span of those 3 months either. I definitely recommend trying the SugarBear Hair gummies.

The reason I never placed another order is because of my impatience and need for instant gratification. I really just didn’t want to wait 10 days for more to come in the mail…so I didn’t. I took myself over to Target and found a new type of vitamins to try. I knew what ingredients I wanted in the vitamins and went off of that. The ones I ended up picking up were Nature’s Bounty Extra Strength Hair, Skin, and Nails (with organ oil infused). It has 5000mcg of Biotin per serving, which was one of the things I was looking for as I searched. I have now been taking those for a little over a month and so far the results are very comparable to the SugarBear Hair gummies. The only downfall is that they are pill capsules and not gummies, so on occasion they are semi inconvenient to take because you need water and can’t just pop them in your mouth on the run. But I’m an adult so I just have to suck it up, I know.

Very recently, I have also placed an order with HUM Nutrition. Again, they are a very “on-trend” brand of vitamin which has lured me in with all of the Instagram and Facebook celebrity posts. With that being said, all of that hype has not disappointed. The ones I picked up were catered towards weight loss. Over the summer I definitely put on some weight and I became very aware of it as its started getting colder. I needed to start wearing more jeans and pants for fall/winter and everything was fitting a little snug. In literally only 3 weeks I am already seeing a major difference. Pants I couldn’t even button are now completely wearable, and on top of that its all completely natural and gluten free! I’m thrilled.

The ones I picked up were Skinny Bird and Ripped Rooster. I take them simultaneously, but they would also work individually. Skinny Bird is an all natural weight loss program on its own. You’re supposed to take one capsule 30 minutes before you eat 3 times a day. Of course I don’t actually follow those directions, but if I did the results may be even greater. I tend to just take one in the morning before breakfast, and then one at night before dinner (if I remember). It is supposed to reduce stress eating and boost your metabolism. Obviously I can’t track all of that, but I guess its working!

Then in conjunction with that, Ripped Rooster is a thermogenic fat-burning program. This means it also boosts metabolism and keeps the body form absorbing as much fat. And yes, I had to google that. You’re supposed to take one in the morning and one in the evening with food. Again, I don’t follow those directions and just take one in the morning with breakfast. I have also accidentally taken it without food, and it didn’t make me sick like some medicines do when you take them on an empty stomach.

Keep in mind, I also pair these things with going to the gym. They just help give that extra boost to keep the weight loss going strong. When placing the order, HUM also provides a referral code. Mine is 140FBC. You get $10 off and I earn $10 towards my next order when its used. Regardless of using the code or not, I still recommend you give them a shot. So far, I’m really happy with the results I’ve experienced and will definitely be repurchasing these when I run out.
